For the note value, it leaves in the data field whatever value was there previously and doesn't update the note description properly. Also, when dragging MIDI notes over, IIRC, something funky happens when you try to use C-2 (which is really C0 in Sonar). If you want to use 146, it's better to just put in in there by hand. In particular, when you drag MIDI CC Toggle (O8 CC146) to a control, it messes up the library browser and everything gets offset by one row, or something like that. I sent a bug report to tech support at M-Audio so I hope they look into them. This way, I just press and hold the Loop key and press the corresponding transport key. That way, if I want to use my O8V2 as a control, I press the Loop key, thereby sending MIDI CC28, which tells Sonar to recognize the incomming keys as controls.
